  A

This is our second trip and is an unusual experience. It was the first time we were able to take the dog on a motorcycle trip. In fact this became a ferry(摆渡)trip with some motorcycling. We had six ferry rides to get all the way through the tour. Including camp fees, ferry tickets and gas,the

whole four days cost only about$300.

There were two highlights(亮点)of this route. One was Lund, the highway before Sechelt, which was very winding(蜿蜒的)and high up along the coastline. The other was the three Sunshine Coast ferries from south of Powell River to Horseshoe Bay and Gibson's Landing.

This is another route for people coming from the east who want a different way to get from Vancouver to Vancouver Island. If things worked out, you could probably make it in one day leaving from Horseshoe Bay in North Vancouver and ending up in Comox on Vancouver Island.

The dog is an experienced traveler. She has gone by plane, train and car in her cage. Leaving her at home is not a good choice since we have to find a dog sitter-she doesn't like being in kennels(狗房).We did a test run here on Salt Spring Island.

We put her in the cage which we had tied carefully to the trailer(拖车)of our motorcycle. After a 30-minute test run we found she was OK with no ill effects. We then proceeded and things went fine. Sometimes, when we stopped, we would find her asleep in the cage.

Next time we go up to Lund we may go to Desolation Sound. There is also a 180 km hiking path from Sechell to north of Lund.
