behave v．表现，举动vt.使守规矩

　　(教材P16)The cat behaves in a strange way.

　　这只猫的举止异常。

　　(1)behave well/badly 举止或行为表现得体/不当

　　behave oneself 注意举止，表现良好

　　(2)behaviour/behavior n. 举止，行为

　　(3)­behaved "有某种表现的"，用于构成复合形容词

　　①You behaved badly(bad)towards me.

　　你对我太不礼貌了。

　　②A beautiful form is better than a beautiful face；a beautiful behaviour (behave)is better than a beautiful form.

　　美丽的体形胜过漂亮的脸蛋；美丽的行为胜过美丽的体形。

hesitate v．犹豫，迟疑

　　(教材P17)What he saw made his head swim and his heart thump harder，but he didn't hesitate：

　　他看到的一切使他头晕目眩，心跳加速，但他却丝毫没有迟疑......

　　①He who hesitates is lost.

　　当断不断，必受其乱。
