一、知识点

1. eat a healthy/balanced diet 健康/平衡膳食balanced用分词作定语，意思为"平衡的"。

A balanced program of diet is necessary.对饮食项目的合理安排是必要的。

另外balanced还可以作"公平的，平和的"解。

We all appreciate a balanced outlook on life.我们都欣赏平和的生活态度。

We should have a balanced mood in life.

我们在生活中应该有一个平和的心态。

这是一种特殊句式，为比较级的否定形式，形式是比较级，意义是最高级。

My father tells me nothing is more pleasant than helping others. 父亲告诉我没有什么比帮助别人更令人愉快。

There is nothing cheaper.再便宜不过了。

8. Suddenly he saw his freiend hurrying by. 突然他看到他的朋友匆匆地走过。

本句中出现see sb.doing句式，doing作宾语补足语。像这样的动词还有hear,notice,watch,feel等。

I saw my best friend Kate walking outside.我看到我的好朋友凯特在外面散步。

相关链接：动词后面的宾语补足语可以是不带to的不定式，也可以是v.ing形式，但两者的含义不完全相同，各有侧重。不带to的不定式着重叙述事实的经过，v.ing形式着重强调偶然觉察到的一个正在发生的动作。例如：

I saw my mother put everything in the room.我看到我的妈妈把东西都放在屋子里。

I saw my mother putting everything in the room.我看到我的妈妈正把东西都放在屋子里。
