 An astronaut should have good health, excellent degree, many years' training, right height and weight. They also should be calm, firm, patient, mature and hard-working. They must be able to adapt to the harshness of life in space.

Carry out research on the moon

 I'll visit moon soon. As a scientist, I have always wanted to visit it by myself. But it's not an easy thing. So I should make many preparations. First I'll take enough exercise in order to be strong. Then I'll take enough and necessary equipment with me. I will make notes of what I'll see on the moon because we'll put a lab on it. Through experiments in the lab, we'll collect valuable resources and study its environment and geological structures. We'll also want to find out if it's a good place for humans to live in in the future. I believe I'll get what I want to get from the moon.

Recently, students in our class have had a discussion on whether space is worth exploring.

30% of us think space exploration is not worthwhile. They think space is too far away from us and our daily life. And the money spent on space exploration can be used to solve the earth's problems such as starvation and pollution.

On the other hand, 70% think space is worth exploring because we have benefited a lot from it, such as using satellites for communication and weather forecast. What's more, with further space research, we may solve the population problem by moving to other planets one day. Also, space research will enable us to find new sources to solve the problem of energy shortages on the earth.
