一．mind

1. v. "介意，反对"，通常用于疑问句，否定句或条件句中，其后可接名词，代词或动词-ing 形式或从句（if\whether引导） ，也可单独使用。

We don't mind this heat. 我们不在乎炎热。

She doesn't mind taking care of our children.她不会介意照顾我们的孩子。

Do you mind if I smoke here?你介意我在这儿抽烟吗？

2. Do/Would you mind＋物主代词/代词的宾格＋doing sth.？ "你介意某人做某事吗？"

Would you mind my/me opening the door? 你介意我把门打开吗？

Would you mind not playing baseball here? 你们不要在这里打棒球，好吗？

如何回答该句型的问题。

A. 若表示"不介意"或"同意"时，常用否定形式。

① No, of course not. ② No, certainly not. ③ No, not at all. ④ No, go ahead.

⑤No, please.

B. 若表示"介意"或"不同意"时，则常用较委婉的方式加以拒绝。

① I'm sorry but I do. ② Sorry, you'd better not. ③ I'm afraid you can't.

④Yes, I do mind. 很少用Yes, I do mind来回答，因这种答语显得较生硬。

3. mind n．意见；头脑；心智 body and mind身心

He wants to change his mind. 他想改变主意。

change one\'s mind 改变主意； keep...in mind记住... never mind不要紧

make up one's mind 决心；决定

Mind your own business. 管你自己的事；少管闲事。

二．can't stand无法忍受

1. vt.容忍，忍受（=bear） 进行时，尤其用于否定句或疑问句中，强调不喜欢，常与can\could等情态动词连用。

句型: can't stand sth.不能忍受某物

can't stand doing sth.不能忍受做某事

can't stand sb. doing sth.不能忍受某人做某事

I can't stand the hot weather.我忍受不了炎热的天气。

I can't stand living here any longer.我不能忍受继续呆在这儿了。

He can't stand her making the same mistake again.他忍受不了她又犯同样的错误。
