三、 教学过程

（一）、热身复习

　　教师热情地和学生们打招呼，请同桌同学相互问好。告诉全班，他们要进行一个"猜谜语"的比赛。教师将全班分成两组，然后用英语描述一个地名或一个事物，请两组学生枪答，答对的小组加一分。例如：

　　T: You are buy lots of books there。

　　S1:Bookshops。

　　T: You can have classes in it。

　　S2:Classroom。

　　T: You can watch some interesting programmes in it。

　　S3:Television。

（二）课文导入

　　教师提问学生："I need a book about English food.What can I do?"学生可能回答："You can buy the book。"也可能回答"：You can have it in the library。".学生可能不知道"library"这个词，可以让他们说出中文,这是教师把"library"板书到黑板上，领读该词,请学生跟读。

（三）、课文教学

　　播放课文录音。请学生边看边听Amy，Lingling，librarian和Ms Smart之间的对话，理解课文大意。

教师再次播放录音，请学生边听边用笔勾画出课文中的生词、短语以及不熟悉的句型，并根据上下文和插图猜测生词的意思。
