Unit 1 Where did you go on vacation?

I. Teaching aims and demands:

1. Knowledge objectives:

a) Key words and phrases: stay at home, go to the mountains, go to New York City, go to the beach, visit my uncle, go to summer camp, visit museums;

b) Target language:

① -Where did you go on vacation? -I went to the mountains.

② -Where did Tina to on vacation? -She went to the beach.

③ -Did you go to summer camp? -No, I didn't.

2. Ability objectives:

a) have a good command of the words and phrases about past events;

b) have a better understand of Indefinite Pronouns and Simple past tense of regular and irregular verbs;

c) make full use of the target language to talk about past events;

3. Moral objectives:

Students learn to talk about past events with Simple past tense and try to cultivate students' sense of protecting environment and loving nature.
