Teaching procedures:

Step1. Warm-up. Play the music "eat and drink"

Step2. Revision: ask and students: what's your favorite fruit ? what's your favorite drink?

Step3. Presentation: show the picture of banana milk shake and let the students guess what it is.

Tell the students that banana milk shake is very delicious. Do you know how to make banana milk shake? Today we're going to learn how to make a banana milk shake.

Step4. 1a play flashes of the process of making a banana milk shake. Teach the new words. Get the student to look at the pictures .then read the words in 1a. Ask Ss to write the names of the actions on the blanks. Check the answers.

Step 5: Guessing game. Do you know the steps of making a banana milk shake? What do we do first? Peel the bananas. What do we do next?

Step 6: 1b Play the recording for the students to number the instructions from 1 to 6. Check the answers. Get the students to read the instructions in the right order.

Step7: 1c Pair work: First show the slide; say the steps of making a banana milk shake together, then work in pairs. Ask some students to say the steps according to the pictures.

Step8: Ask a student to come to the blackboard and use the electric whiteboard to show the steps of make a banana milk shake. Then write "first, next, then, finally" on the blackboard, tell the student to use these words to give instructions.
