Warming up

1. Sing a song and do the actions.

2. Greeting

T: hello, boys and girls. Good morning, boys and girls .

Purpose: Make students feel classroom atmosphere, stimulating study interest.

Step 2 presentation

1. Teach new words : boy and girl

1). T: Hello ,boys. Hello, boy. (point to a boy ) he is a boy ,and he is a boy... they are boys.

( draw a boy and explain "boy")

2) Show wordcard "boy" then teaching it.

3) T:( point to some boys) Are you a boy? S: Yes.

T:( point to a boy) Are you a girl? S:no.

4) Learn "girl"

T : you are not a girl .(and point to a girl) she is a girl .

(Draw a girl and explain it)

T: follow me .girl ,girl ,boy, boy.(point to boy and girl) she is girl .she is gir...they are girls. he is a boy ,and he is a boy... they are boys.

(explain that boys and girls means many boy and many girl.)

5) Practice

T : Are you a boy /girl?

(let Ss answer) yes, I'm a boy/ girl.

2. Recognize Ms Smart

1) show pictures of " Sam,Daming,Amy, Lingling"

2) T:Look,Sam and Daming are boys.Amy and Lingling are girls.

T :Today, Sam, Daming Amy, Lingling bring a teacher for us. Who is she? (Show picture of Ms Smart.)

T: she is Ms Smart. She is a English teacher. also, she is Sam and Amy's mother.

3) Play a role of Ms Smart .

M :Hello, I'm Ms Smart

Ss: Hello, Ms Smart

M : How are you ?

Ss:I'm fine, thank you.

T: Say "how are you?"to Ms Smart .

Ss: how are you?

M: I'm fine, too, thank you .

(write the sentence on the blackbord) explain that "too" means "also".

3. Sentence

T: now, you should say "how are you" to me

Ss : how are you?

T: I'm fine. And how are you?

Ss : I'm fine too, thank you.

(Write it on the blackboard and explain "and" means"or so"

4. Practice

1) Teaching the sentence for many times

2) Create cirunstonces

One day, we meet on the street.

T: oh! How are you?

S: I'm fine. And how are you ?

T: I'm fine too, thank you.

Practice in pairs

5. Game " we are woodman"

Purpose : Make the students practice the main sentences and key words with the things they know very well in order to help them use English in daily life.

Step3 AB MODULE2 Unit 1

1. Listen and match

T: take out your AB. Turn to page 6. Listen the tape and match.

2. Check the answer

Purpose: Proper exercise, lets the student can use the sentence.

Step4 Listen the tape

1. Listen the tape and find out how many people?

2. There are Sam Daming Lingling Amy Ms Smart.

3. Listen the tape again and think "what happened?"

T: look at picture 5. Ms Smart say:"Hello, Ming". Is this boy's name Ming? Ss: No.

T: what's his name? Ss: Daming.

T: Yeah. Ms Smart called the wrong name. He is not Ming. His name is Daming.

4. Listen and repeat.

Purpose: Make the students get familiar with the text, and practice the listening and speaking ability in a good habit.

Step 5 homework

1. listen the tape,review Unit 1. And preview Unit 2.

2. Use the sentences greeting with your parents and friends
