Module 4 Unit 2 The apples are falling down the stairs.

Ⅰ. General Introduction

  This lesson is the new Standard English Book 12 Module 4 Unit 2.

  This is a consolidation lesson. We do the action around target language. Ask the students to grasp two new vocabularies and train the languages. Have the students to use languages in the scene with the present simple continue tense. After learning, make the students to understand and can use the languages in the scene, improving them their ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing.

  It's important for the students to use the present simple continue tense.

Ⅱ.Teaching Objective Analysis

Performance Objectives

 a) Knowledge Objectives

  1. Grasping the new vocabularies " stairs, heavy"

2. Consolidation the target languages " The apples are falling down the stairs.

b) Ability Objectives

Improving the ability of listening, speaking and using language, make the students can use the languages in the scene with the present simple continue tense.

c) Moral Objectives

1. To arouse students' interesting in English.

2. To cultivate students' abilities of communication.

Ⅲ. Learner characteristic analysis

It's difficult to the students to grasp and use the present simple continue tense in the scene. It's easy to the top students, but lower.

Ⅳ. Choose and design of the teaching tactful

According to analysis of teaching, I design the form of performance and doing the action to arouse their interesting lr learning, to make them grasping to knowledge.

Ⅴ. Teaching naural resources and implement.

I use the medium, some pictures and object adding interesting of teaching, improvement the effecting of teaching.

Ⅵ. Teaching Procedures

Ⅰ) Preparation

Make a scene.(Warming up. Review the content of last lesson.)

Eg. S1: Oh dear ! I can't carry them all. The oranges are falling. Who can help me?

Ss: We can help you. / I can. / I will help you.

S2: Sorry, I can't. I'm doing my homework.

Ⅱ) Presentation.

Teach the new words in the scene.

(scene1) T: Oh,dear! I can't carry them all. The apples are falling down the stairs. Who can help me?

   S2: We can help you.

   (The students come to me and pick the apples. Then I write the theme.)
