Step1 Greetings。教学导入。
Greet students as usual。Ask Ss: what did you do last evening? How often do you do that?
Let Ss make the dialogue in the chain drill.
Step 2 Revision . Do a survey:
Show a chart to students like this .How often do you do these activities? Divide the class into groups of four. After a while, choose one in each group to report the survey.

Ss make more dialogues with the phrases in the chart:: Read English books, use the internet, exercise, Go to the movies, etc. Time:3 minutes
自学检测一:Ss show their dialogues to the whole class loudly. Check any mistakes if there is any.
Step 4 自学指导二。
Ss work in pairs ,read and discuss the dialogue in Activity 2d. Make sure they understand each sentence and read each correctly. Time: 4 minutes.

1.Ask students to read and translate the dialogue. One student, one sentence.
2.Translate the following
Be free, full/empty, kind of, how about, swing dance.
