remain v. 保持不变；剩余

① 作连系动词，后跟 词、 词 、表地点的介词短语、 等做表语。保持某种状态。

e.g. Peter become a manager, but Mike remained a worker.

　　　　　Although I said sorry to him ,he remained angry.

② 作不及物动词，"剩余"，没有 语态

e.g. Only a few leaves remained on the tree.
