Check the students' homework by dictating some words and expressions. Ask some volunteers to write the words on the blackboard and check their words.

Self-learning

Read and master the words and expressions in this part: amazing, survive, select, design, remove, worth, belong to, in return and so on. 　　1. Group's Volunteers to show their groups' translation.

The other groups listen to them carefully and write down on the textbook. Translate the text individually and underline the sentences they can't understand. Then discuss the difficult sentences in groups.
