课堂气氛,又可以复习door, desk, chair等单词,为本课学习It's on your desk. It's under the chair. It's behind the door.做好铺垫。

Step 2 Lead-in

1、After singing the song "please stand up", the teacher asks the students to point to the box,then point to the box on the desk to teach the word "box". Use the same way to teach "bedroom" and "toy".

2、Show the picture of the girl in Part One and say:The girl has a toy, but she can't find it. where is her toy? Then let the students listen and answer the question: Where is her toy?

3. (1)The teacher puts the toy rabbit in the box, and then on the box.

 T: Where is my toy ? Ss:It's in/on the box.

(2) The teacher puts the toy rabbit under the box, and then behind the box.

T:Where is my toy ? Ss:It's under/behind the box.(the teacher leads the students to answer)

Then write down "under" and "behind" on the board to teach the new words in different ways.

4、Play a game :Look at the mouth, say the words.

5、Say and do:on, on, on, under, under, under, in, in, in, behind, behind, behind .

6、The students work in pairs, they use the sentence "Where is the ...? It's in/on/ under/behind the ...." to describe the position of their things .

【设计意图】:以实物的形式呈现本课新授单词,使得原本枯燥的单词变得形象生动,使学生建立了单词与实物之间的联系,更加深了学生对单词的印象。通过师生问答,复习巩固三年级上册所学句型Where is...?It's in/on...,让学生在一个完整的语言环境中进行语言学习,形成自然的语言习得习惯。

Step3 New lesson.

1、learn Part Two .

(1)T:Today is Daming's birthday. He has got a present, but he doesn't know where it is. let's help him find out the present.

The teacher plays the tape , let the students listen and answer the question on PPT.

(2)The students listen for the second time and repeat.

(3)The whole class read the text by themselves.

(4)学生扮演配音小演员,为课文动画配音。
