Module 6 Unit 1 《I went there last year.》教学设计

一、教材分析

《新标准英语》第六册Module 6的主题是Travel, Unit1 I went there last year.的语言功能是运用动词的过去式谈论旅游见闻。学习任务是When did you go to...? Did you go with...?

二、学情分析

本课的教学对象是五年级学生。他们对过去时态的学习已有了一定的基础,能够正确地运用"Where did you go?""Did you go to ...?"等句型来进行问答交流。因此,在本课教学中,教师应在此基础上引出话题travel,通过创设情景,进一步引导学生巩固和拓展对过去式的表达及运用。

三、教学目标

(一)知识目标

1.能听懂、会说并认读单词: photo, stay, week, parent

2.能听懂、会说并认读下列句子:When did you go to...? We went there .... Did you go with ...? Yes, I did. / No, I didn't.

(二)能力目标

在情景中运用When did you go to...? We went there .... Did you go with ...? Yes, I did. / No, I didn't.来谈论旅游经历。

(三)情感目标

开拓学生视野,增长学生的人文地理知识,激发学生热爱祖国大好河山的情感。

四、教学重、难点

(一)教学重点

1、认读单词photo, stay, week, parent

2、认读和运用句子: When did you go to ...? We went there last year. Did you go with your mother and father? Yes, I did. / No, I didn't.

(二)教学难点

在情景中熟练运用所学重点句型来谈论自己和他人的旅游经历。

五、教学策略

科学、有效的教学方法是教学成功的关键,根据本课的教学目标和学生的认知情况,在本课的教学中,将以学生为主体,以活动为载体,以语言的运用为目标。灵活运用多种教学方法,如直观教学法、听说法、视听法、情景交际法以及任务活动教学法等,引导学生在参与、体验,合作与交流中,主动获取知识,提高语言运用能力,从而达到语言教学的目标。

六、教学准备

多媒体课件、录音机、单词卡片、日历、照片等。

七、过程设计

Activity 1. Warming-up

1. Greeting.

2. Sing a song : Where did you go ? What did you do ?. (课件显示歌曲内容) 教师与学生一起边唱边表演。

3. Free talk.

教师运用下列句子, 如Where did you go last weekend? What did you do / see / buy there? Did you...? 和学生进行自由谈话。然后进行两两对话练习。

【设计意图】通过师生同唱歌曲和Free talk,不仅活跃了课堂气氛,而且复习了与本课新知相关的旧知,激活了学生的思维,为新课的学习奠定了良好的基础。

Activity 2. Presentation

(1)课件出示图片:烟台。问学生Where is this?让学生猜出它的名字。然后教师指着烟台图与一学生进行对话:Did you go to Yantai? When did you go to Yantai? Did you go with your mother and father? 教师边说边将句子逐一板书在黑板上,领读句子并引导学生回答。

(2)采用多种形式,如师生问答,男女生问答等形式,巩固操练句子。

(3)课件出示其他旅游城市照片,如威海、蓬莱、养马岛等,让学生在小组间或同桌间,根据图片运用Did you go to ...? When did you go to ...? Did you go with ...? 谈论旅游。

【设计意图】首先通过谈论孩子们熟悉的城市烟台,引出对新句型的学习,然后通过多种操练形式,如师生问答,男女生问答来巩固对所学句型的表达,最后通过出示其它城市的照片,引导学生运用所学句型来谈论旅游,从而提高学生的语言交流、表达和运用能力。

Activity3. Text

课件出示图片:新疆,并介绍:Lingling went to Xinjiang last year. Who did she go with? Where is Xinjiang? Now let's listen.

(1)Listen and learn the new words.

a. 播放课文CD-ROM,展示本课对话内容,让学生整体感知本课内容;同时划出自己不认识的单词;

b. 进行交流,集体解决同学们提出的疑问。教师准备好单词卡片,为学生讲解单词:

photo:出示一些准备好的照片,介绍"I've got some photos. These are photos."出示课件展示:Lingling has got some photos, too.

stay, week:出示日历,数出一周的七天,讲解"This is a week. I stayed in Beijing for a week last year."

出示卡片认读单词:remember, uncle

【设计意图】 播放本课CD-ROM,展示本课对话和内容,让学生对课文内容有一个初步的整体的感知,让学生在听过程中划出不认识的单词,然后通过集体交流逐一解决,这样有利于培养学生发现问题和解决问题的能力。

(2)Listen again and answer the questions.

课件出示下列问题:逐段播放课文录音,让学生边听边思考相关的问题,然后全班交流。

a. Who has got some photos?

b. Where is Xinjiang?

c. When did Lingling go there?

d. Who did Lingling go with?

e. Where does Lingling's uncle live?

f. Where is Hainan?

【设计意图】以问题引领课文,有利于学生对课文内容的理解。

(3)Listen and say.

教师播放课文录音,在每句话后停顿,请学生跟读并模仿正确的语音、语调。

【设计意图】让学生跟读录音,并在读的过程中注意对学生进行朗读技巧的指导,有利于培养学生良好的语音、语调,使学生养成正确的朗读习惯。

(4)Read in groups.

把学生分成几大组,让学生分角色朗读,

【设计意图】分角色朗读课文,不仅能激发学生的朗读兴趣,而且能培养学生相互合作能力。

Activity 4. Practice

教师课件出示下列两幅图片,让学生同桌两人看图做角色问答练习。以此巩固运用本课中的重点句子。

Activity5. Extension

1. Look and say

课件出示课本活动三中的三幅图片,引导学生看图并根据例句Last year, she went to Qingdao and visited her friend.描述其它两幅图片。

2.Talk about your travel.

将学生分成四人小组,让学生运用准备好的照片在小组中谈论自己的旅行经历,去过哪里,什么时间去的以及和谁一起去的,小组谈论之后找学生到教室前面展示自己的照片并简单介绍自己的旅行经历。

【设计意图】本活动将学习内容与学生的生活紧密结合,使学生在学会课本内容的基础上学会运用所学知识谈论自己的旅行,从而完成对本课知识的有效拓展,培养学生的综合语言运用能力。

Activity6. Summary

教师引导学生小结并齐读板书内容。

【设计意图】让学生自己总结本节课的重点知识,能达到巩固知识,加深印象的目的。
