T: I know you have been to many places. Have you ever been to a/an...?

Show slides 4-7 to the class and introduce the nouns for places, e.g. space museum, history museum, art museum, water park, zoo, amusement park, science museum.

Have Ss practice asking and answering the questions using the structure Have you ever been to a/an ...?

3. Work on 1a

T: Everyone has his or her favorite place to go. Among these places, which would you like to visit most?

Which of these places would you like to visit? Rank them from 1 (most) to 6 (least).

Have Ss discuss briefly with their partner in pairs. Then have them rank the places.

If time allows, do a class survey and show the results in a bar chart, e.g. There are (six) students who would like to visit a space museum most.
