T: Yes, we're flying ! Birds can fly, Can we fly ?

Ss: No, we can't. Now, let's enjoy a chant.(播放chant ,带学生边唱边拍手。)

T: Birds can fly,let's see what animals can do.(出示几幅动物的照片,老虎在奔跑,猴子在弹吉他,大象在画画)

T:What's the tiger doing ?

Ss: It's running fast.

T: Can you run fast ?

Sa: Yes, I can . S b: No, I can't.

T:Animals can do so many things, we love them! Let's make a poster about animals later, the theme is " We love animals!"

设计意图:带学生做动作,引导学生跟唱chant ,利用几幅动物图片,在师生自由对话中复习 can 的用法,并提出本课任务,制作关于动物的海报。

Step2 Presentation

1.Show a picture of Sam. Amy and Lingling.(他们在看电视节目)

T: Let's say hello to our friends, Children ,What are they doing ?

Ss: They are watching TV.

T: Yes, they are watching a programme about animals.(出示单词卡 教授 "programme",带学生齐读,开小火车读,确保学生掌握。)

2. Watch the video and answer the questions . Pre-watching questions

(1.)They are watching a programme about ________.

A. dogs B. hot dogs

(2.)Are hot dogs really dogs ? (热狗是真的狗吗)

 A. Yes, they are B. No, they aren't .
