一、教学内容:
Module 8 Unit 1 Is it a monster?本课主要是培养学生能够用"Is it a(n)...?"进行询问。并能够用"It's a ..."来进行回答。培养学生在危险时候懂得用"Help!"来进行呼救。
二、教学内容分析:
本单元的课文情景是在公园里,两个小女孩看到树丛后面由奇怪的东西,于是做出各种猜测,她们越想越害怕。并用"Help"进行呼救。在猜测过程中,他们一直使用"Is it a...?"说出自己的猜测。他们已经看到了这个奇怪东西的一部分,有一定的把握。但是不够肯定。这种情况,及要用到本单元的句式"Is it a...?"来进行询问了。
三、教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:
a. 单词:全体学生能够初步理解:monster, now, kite, don't=do not, know, no, not (isn't=is not), help. 全体学生能够初步运用:yes, no, not(isn't=is not), help.部分学生能够初步运用monster, new, kite, don't=do not, know.
b. 语句:全体学生能够初步运用Is it a cat? Yes, it is. / No, it isn't. Help! 并掌握一般疑问句的升调。
2. 语言技能目标:全体学生能够听懂、说并能够初步运用句子:Is it a cat? Yes, it is. / No, it isn't. Help!
3. 情感态度目标:通过本单元的学习,培养学生能够根据需要勇于并乐于提出问题并回答他人的问题,激发学生们对英语学习的兴趣,是学生树立学习英语的自信心。
四、教学重点:
1. 掌握单词yes, no, not (isn't=is not), help.
2. 掌握句子Is it a ...?并能够用Yes, it is. No, it isn't.来进行回答。
3.知道在紧急情况用Help!进行呼救。
五、教学难点:
1. kite, cat两个单词的发音与区分。
2. I don't know 的发音与理解。

七、教学过程:

1. Greetings: Good morning boys and girls! Ss: Good morning teacher!
2. Sing a chant: What's this?
Ⅱ、 Presentation
1. Ask and answer. (PPT show a cat kite.)
T: Good, boys and girls. Look! What's this?
