一、教学目标(Teaching aims)

（一）知识目标(Knowledge aims)

1. 听、说、读、写单词live；听、说、认读单词as, born, spell, letter, became, herself, all over, role model。

2. 听、说、读、写句子"She couldn't see or hear. Helen Keller was born in the US in 1880. Later Helen learnt to read, write and speak."。

（二）能力目标(Ability aims)

能够谈论并讲述名人一生的经历。

二、教学重难点(Teaching points and difficulties)

能够运用含有动词过去式的句子谈论并讲述名人一生的经历。

三、教学准备(Teaching preparation)

课件，点读笔，电子课本

四、教学过程

Step 1: Warm-up

1. 师生相互问候。

2. 教师出示杨利伟图片，小组讨论杨利伟的个人信息，然后请同学介绍。句子可以参考第一单元的课文内容。复习巩固，为后面介绍名人做铺垫。

然后请学生们欣赏一首与杨利伟有关的歌曲《Look Up at the Spaceship》。
